Education and Training Grants

The Foundation will award grants to companies, schools, individuals and PMPA Districts for education and training activities related to the precision machined products industry. Grant money can be used to pay for or help defray the cost of tuition, in-house training, or other educational activities including special District events. Projects considered for training include, but are not limited to, technical subjects, quality, management, supervisory skills, material or any other educational subject related to precision machined products companies.

Download the application form, complete it and mail it to the Foundation. Grant funds are limited and will be awarded to applicants based on the applicant meeeting the goals of the Foundation and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

NIMS Certification Fee Reimbursement Grant

PMPA supports the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) and the NIMS credentialing program. The PMPA Education Foundation provides funds to reimburse employees of PMPA member and non-member companies the costs of obtaining NIMS certification. Funds are also available to reimburse companies the costs associated with NIMS accreditation of company training programs.
