About PMPA Education Foundation

In September 1999, the PMPA Board of Trustees approved the formation of the PMPA Educational Foundation to receive a large contribution from Richard and Joan Parker of Metric Machining (Monrovia, CA). In June, 2000, the Foundation received a favorable ruling from the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c) (3) charitable organization, so that it could begin its work.

The Foundation has its own Bylaws that outline how it is to operate. Its fiscal year follows that of PMPA, and the Foundation Board of Directors is appointed by the PMPA Board of Trustees.

The elected officers of the Foundation are: Chairman of the Board, President (Staff position), Secretary and Treasurer. The Foundation Board of Directors elects the officers.
