The PMPA Education Foundation was organized exclusively for charitable, including educational and research, purposes related to the Precision Machined Products Industry. It is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization - your personal or corporate contribution is tax deductible.

Grant funds are currently available to assist individuals, schools and companies for education and training activities related to the precision machining industry. The Education Foundation began distributing grants in December, 2004, and has awarded 122 grants totaling nearly $107,000 for training projects.

A Donation to the Education Foundation is an excellent way to remember a fellow PMPA member or employee who has devoted his or her career to this industry.

PMPA 2011 Education Foundation Golf Outing Fundraiser another Winner!

The 11th Annual Education Foundation Golf Outing was held October 23, 2011 during PMPA's Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas. Forty-three companies and individuals contributed over $25,000 to the fundraiser as sponsors or patrons, including 14 who contributed $1,000 each at the Platinum Sponsor level and another 21 who contributed $500 each at the Gold Sponsor level. Seventy-two players participated and enjoyed the Crenshaw Cliffs Golf Course on the grounds of the Barton Creek Resort. A portion of the entry fee from each participant is a donation to the Foundation.

Thank you to our Golf Outing Sponsors - Revenues from the outing will be used for employee training grants through the Foundation Grant Fund.
